Ever have this happen? Where cardio equipment distance does not match the distance on your fitness watch? First time for me! I was on the treadmill due to cold and rainy weather. I train with my watch outside so I went with what my watch said for my workout. Which meant I had to add another half mile on the treadmill. It’s a psychological bummer. Looking at your watch when you think you’re at the end of your workout and realizing you have a half mile more to go. Fun thing, though, I trained uphill for the last half mile so I made it interesting.

Continue to take excellent care as you keep increasing your miles. Do things like massage your feet. Maintain good sleep habits. And, if you need to remember your "why" - write in your journal or talk to a friend or family member. We are just about 1/2 way through a 12-week training to walk 9 miles continuously at a pace of under 20 minutes per mile.
